Superdry is hands down one of the best quality product you can get from a street wear brand. The owner Julian Dunkerton was influenced by a trip he took to japan with his co-owner where they fall in love with the bright colors and large Japanese print graphics. Although this brand is not a Japanese brand it is really a British brand that has combined the classic styles of both British and American with the influence of the Japanese art. Superdry began with the founding of Cult Clothing in 1985. This first location did lead to more but this was a previous venture for this owner with a pervious partner. It wasn’t until he partnered with designer James Holder who was the creator of bench brand. They collaborated to make an in house brand and that’s when Superdry was born in 2004. By December 2011, SuperGroup (Superdry) opened the doors to its flagship store on Regent Street in London. The store is over 22,000 square feet of retail space and they have incorporated a showroom on the upper floor. This store is the international showcase for the Superdry brand.
Today, with its own stores and websites, the network of franchises, licenses and concessions, Superdry is sold in over 100 countries worldwide. Superdry still has the best quality, unbelievable level of detailing on their products than any other urban clothing brand.
